Personal Important

Death is everywhere on Earth. As one ages, ideas of dying become more prominent. We no longer have the advantages of our youth, such as the ability to delude ourselves into thinking that we will live forever.

Humanities to society

When someone else is going through a difficult time, studying the humanities may help you truly put yourself in their shoes; this enables you to show empathy for them and not be quick to become angry at them. Additionally, studying the humanities may help you truly put yourself in the shoes of another person when they are going through a difficult time.
