Don't miss anything!
In this project you will interview the students who responded to your job application. You will need to prepare questions for the interviews, take notes about the applicants, and discuss them privately after they have all applied. Then you will choose one of them to hire. This assignment is worth ten points and is due on different days for different companies, but in no case later than Friday 7-16.
Use the same group you already formed. Make sure you have written down at least three questions to ask the applicant. Make sure you have a copy of the job description, and that you select the candidate who meets as many of your goals as possible. Each team member must ask at least one question. In the discussion, each team member should explain which applicant they liked best and why. Secretarial Duty: One member of each company must act as the Secretary. This person must write the company name on a piece of paper, a list of all the company members who were present for the interviews, and a list of all the students who were interviewed. This paper should also indicate which applicant got the job. After the interviews are over, turn in the paper to me so I can give you all your points.
In this project you will apply for a job with one of the other companies formed by students, and go to an interview to get it. Read the job description and make sure you are ready to answer questions about those topics. Consider how you dress and try to look the way you should look for the job. This assignment is worth ten points and is due on different days for different companies, but in no case later than Friday 7-16.
Try to convince them to hire you. If you show up on time and make a reasonable effort to answer the questions you will get ten points. If you get the job you will get five additional points. CNIT 105 / Bowne
