on page 12, page 21 and pages 35 – 36.

Read Pages 38 – 46 in the textbook. Do the study exercises and check solutions near the
end of the unit.
Do all of the Review Exercises on page 54. Check your answers on pages 54 – 56.

Read Pages 58 – 67 and 73 – 74. Do the study exercises and check solutions near the
end of the unit.
Do all of the Review Exercises on pages 70 – 71. Check your answers on pages 71 – 72.

Read Pages 75 – 80. Do the study exercises and check solutions near the end of the unit.
Do all of the Review Exercises on page 81. Check your answers on page 82.
Review

Pick up the “Module One Review Assignment” from the Math 053 drawer. Complete it.
Then bring it to the desk to be graded and recorded.
Test

When you are ready, go to the test desk and ask for Application Test One. Calculator
use is recommended on the test. Go over your graded test with an instructor. Retesting
is optional. If you retest, your score will be the average of the two test scores.
After completing Module One, get the “Module Two Study Guide” out of the
Math 053 drawer.
