Retention Rates

(First time undergraduate Bachelor’s degree student retention rates)

The AIU System’s retention rate is based on students who enrolled at AIUS during the period of July 1 – October 15 for the respective year listed below, as reported to the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS). The students contained in the calculation only represent a subset of the AIU student population as a whole. The student subset below did not attend another college or university prior to enrolling in a Bachelor’s Degree program at the AIUS. The calculation reflects the percentage of students who began their studies in the fall and continued their studies as of the following fall. This is the most current retention data available as last collected by IPEDS during their 2020-21 collection.

This section does not include Trident students since they became part of the AIU System after the end of this date range.
