About Cambridge Brain Sciences Marc Lipton (President and CEO) – an experienced investment professional and operator, Marc most recently spent 11 years as a partner at Torquest, a prominent Canadian private equity fund. Marc is involved in a range of brain health initiatives including sitting on the Toronto Western and General Hospital Board where he is Board Champion for the Krembil Neuroscience Centre and a member of the Brain Campaign Cabinet that recently raised $200mm. Marc holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Engineering) from the University of Toronto, an MBA from the Rotman School of Management and a Chartered Professional Accountant designation. Dr. Adrian Owen (Chief Scientific Officer) – Adrian is one of the world’s leading neuroscientists and has spent the last 25+ years pioneering breakthroughs in cognitive neuroscience. He is the Canada Excellence Research Chair in Cognitive Neuroscience and Imaging and maintains a team of 25+ neuroscientists at Western University (www.owenlab.org). Adrian spent much of his career at the Medical Research Council’s Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit at the University of Cambridge. Adrian holds a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) from University College London and a PhD from King’s College London.
