Persuasive Audience Analysis
Health Care Reform
The Health Care Reform has been one of the most debated topics within not only the
United State government but also the people. We all can say that there is defiantly changes that
need to be made in our nation. The majority of the audience al agrees with the new bill that was
just passed but the thing is, the majority of the audience said they do not know very much about
what is actually in the bill. I think this topic will be very enticing to the majority of the audience
because like I said they said they do not know very much about it and I think it’s right for
everyone to know certain details of the bill that could sometimes go unnoticed. There are many
positives and negatives throughout the whole bill but it’s a matter of everyone getting a better
grip and understanding rather than just listening to the media and agreeing on just what they hear
rather than what they know.
I hope in my speech of actuation that I am able to educate people on what is in the bill
that they may not know and change some people’s opinions that the bill needs change rather than
just leaving it as it is. Generally with universal health care it is just going to make E.R.s and
other doctor offices even more crowded because of all the people who just go in because they
feel sick rather than the people who are seriously injured and other things of that sort. In the
surveys the majority of the people said they are more willing to wait longer but that why I want
to inform them of the different parts of the bill. Most of the people said they are willing to give
up more taxes to pay for others but I would assume those people don’t understand how much tax
they are talking about since none of the students have real paying jobs. It surprised me by how
many people said they don’t know when I asked what they think of Obama’s plan which made
