- Student Representative Report – Miss Paige Bogda
- HS: Elective Fair, Feb Students of the Month, and Talent Show
- MS: 7/8 Grade Course Selections
- John Beck: Jump Rope for Heart & Student Council to Luther Acres
- Kissel Hill: Seussical Musical & Title I Night (with all other Title I Elementary Schools)
- Bonfield: Jump Rope for Heart & All Pro Dads
- Lititz El: Book Fair & Title I Night (with all other Title I Elementary Schools)
- K-2 Math Curriculum Update – Mrs. Stacie Bardell, Mrs. Heather Bellows, Ms. Ashley Borg, Mrs. Amy Henschel, Mrs. Beth Smith - Team members were from every grade level from every building. - Would like to adopt Eureka Math – aligned to PA Common Core K – 8. - Product has a combination of formative and summative assessments. - Resources and Supports: Teacher Manuals, PD with Online Modules, Physical Manipulatives, and Smartboard License - If approved, math team will present to the K-2 program to acclimate teachers to this resource. - This resource will increase the rigor at the primary grades to prepare for the greater rigor at the intermediate grade levels. - Costs: $140.00 per teacher, $450.00 for Professional Development - Online resources may be pushed out through Google Classroom (not a requirement, but an option). - Key to program is the manipulative piece…students will be able to learn more frequently at a greater concrete level.
- K-6 Technology Curriculum Updates – Mrs. Beth Hartranft, Mrs. Shelly Chmil, and Teachers
- Update to new ISTE standards (2016). Curricular units have been updated to match these updated standards.
- Computational Thinkers – using Code.org course and lessons (both plugged and unplugged).
- Train the trainer model utilized to train core team and then train each building.
- Replace existing resources that require laptop access, utilize PicCollage Edu, and Seesaw

- Introduction to Personal Finance i. 9 – 10 th: Built for those with limited financial knowledge ii. Explore values/needs/wants, decisions, savings goals, getting a job, managing money, compassion shopping, credit basics, identity theft. iii. Assessments: projects/test, children’s book, financial stress simulation, financial simulation during a month. iv. Resources: no textbook, Moodle, Google Classroom, H&R Block Simulation, Stock Market Simulation, and Take Charge Today Website.
- Money Management and Investing Skills i. 10 – 12 th^ : Built for advanced understanding in financial wellbeing and investing ii. Financial decision-making, tax returns, setting financial goals, lifelong employment, fundamentals of investing, major expenditures, insurance, credit reports, identify theft, and estate planning. iii. Assessments: projects/tests, H&R Block Game- 10 Week Real World Simulation, and Stock Market Game - 10 Week Investing Simulation. iv. Resources: no textbook, Moodle, Google Classroom, H&R Block Simulation, Stock Market Simulation, and Take Charge Today Website.
- Business Computer Applications & Career Exploration i. Students will learn how to utilize digital tools

- Internet Safety/Brain Pop Activity ii. PA Core Communication & Computer and Information Technology Standards iii. Major Shifts: Bringing best practices into the classroom for students earlier. iv. Assessments – typing speed, Google Drive Organization, and Google Applications projects. v. Resources: Web based keyboarding program, AES Software, Google Drive, Google Classroom, and Moodle. 6. - Special Education Plan Update – Dr. Melanie Calender i. Plan deals specifically with compliance. PDE requires every three years. ii. Already shared with the stakeholder team. Abbreviated version was handed out. iii. Next Step: Public Review iv. Required components of this plan serves all students in the Warwick boundary, even if they are not served directly in the Warwick School District schools. v. The focus remains to provide professional development to provide the highest quality educator, and educational environment, to all students. vi. Areas of Growth:

- Welcome - Mr. Todd Rucci
- LAMS Co-Opt Request: Jeremy Allen o Expanding to HS next fall- beginning with 9th^ grade and adding one grade level each year moving forward o Current projections show the number of students would max around 50 once LAMS is at a full 9-12 high school o Looking to provide our HS students with athletic opportunities in the community o Interested in all female and male sports except for football o Understand LAMS is responsible for transportation and students must meet all Warwick school district requirements ! SAC will support the co-opt request from LAMS
- Student Representative Report – Miss Paige Bogda o High School ! Incoming class of 2022 participated in the Elective Fair where they learned about HS elective course options from Link Leaders ! Celebrated our Students of the Month ! Looking forward to the Science Fair and spring musical o Middle School ! 8 th^ grade visited the HS for an Elective Fair ! 7 th^ and 8th^ grade completed course selection o John Beck ! All students will participate in jump rope for heart ! 5 th^ and 6th^ grade will visit the HS for a preview of the spring musical o Kissel Hill ! 5 th and 6 th grade are hard a work creating their musical ! Looking forward to the spring Title I evening ! Barnes and Noble Night will be held on March 22 nd o Bonfield ! All Pro Dad’s breakfast was held ! Art Goes to School visited
April 12, 2018 o Clair Global, Lancaster Barnstormers, Listrak, Pleasant View Retirement Home, Sechan Electronics, Versatek o Working on ways to promote it with the students earlier so they know what the options are o Unified Track has been approved and we are quickly putting all of the pieces together to launch the season
