why not? If your thoughts have changed, share what theories or theorists had the most impact on you. Next, describe how studying personality connects to one of the following programmatic themes:
It’s crazy to think that we have finally made it to our final week. Personally, I feel that I have truly learned so much and I hope each of you did too! Here are my thoughts on this week’s discussion post:
personality, such as if a person is a lip bitter or picker can indicate anxiety or awkwardness. Whereas someone who crosses their legs and arms suggests defensiveness. One’s emotions can be etched on our faces, someone who clenches their jaw or grinding their teeth can indicate tension, whereas someone with smile lines can indicate happiness and joy. Secondly, listening to your intuition, this is a nonverbal technique is a perception via images and “ah- ha” moment rather than logic. Lastly having a sense of emotional energy, this refers to the “vibe” we give off. Some vibes can positive and open, and it can improve the moods of those around you, contrary some vibes can be simply draining which gives off instinctively indicate a desire to get away. and socialize with my friends. Getting pregnant at sixteen I had to shift my focus a bit, even though I had support from my parents I had to changes in my life, but I knew it was going to be for the good. A few weeks after my first baby girl was born, she would end up passing away from a cause the left more questions than answers, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). It was at that very moment I felt a radical shift, I lost interest in being with friends or anyone for that matter, even though I really loved school I would evenly dropout in my senior year. I went from being an almost carefree teenager to being an empty shell of the person I use to be. As time would go on, I would end up having two more beautiful daughters which made my heartbeat again. I’m still nowhere that I want to be, but the development and evolution of my personality just from having my daughters has helped me crawl out of the despair and depression whole that I had buried myself in for many years. Without the ability to change and evolve our personalities, we would be stuck in the same routine that could significantly hinder our ability to grow and be the truest forms of ourselves.
recognized within myself, as I used to have more of a weak, submissive, and self-deprecating attitude/personality. Whereas now I see where I have grown and evolved into a stronger, more confident person. Despite this I believe that generally the core of our personality remains the same. For instance, I a feel that personally I have always been a genuine caring, open-minded, and accepting person. At my core I feel that this is still who I am, but due to the significant impact of some life altering circumstances that I had to overcome, and my defense mechanism has been to make some changes in my personality. Doing so I have been able to evolve to be the best person I can be. If your thoughts have changed, share what theories or theorists had the most impact on you.
